    On September 17, 2002, the City Council enacted ordinance 17892 that adopts by reference the 2002 version of Standard Traffic Ordinance for Kansas Cities (STO). The ordinance was published and takes effect today, September 25, 2002.

    The 2002 version has a yellow cover. All prior STO versions are obsolete and should be discarded.

    The Council also enacted ordinance No. 17893 that deletes and modifies certain STO sections. A table summarizing the effects of adoption of these two Ordinances follows:
